For
you it was a different story...
College
wasn't an option for you when you got your H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
There were other things in your life that dfemanded your time,
and the options weren't as diverse as they are now.
So
you are going back to college. If this scares you, don't worry.
There are MANY colleges out there that have established programs
specifically gearded to the Adult reeturning student.
There
are weekend programs, evening programs, Senior Citizen programs
and Distance Learning programs. To find out the school that has
a program that is right for you, do some research.
Ask
schools about distance learning programs which will allow you
do "tele-learn" from home. This web-site has more
about distance learning programs
You
may not have taken a test in so many years and you are scared.
Maybe brush up on some skills to get you caught up. IF you want

You
will usually find that classes that are taught in the evening
are filled with more "Non-tradtional" students. If you
like to interact with the professor this may be the way to go.
During day classes, you will find a lot more of the "traditional"
students. There are some students who will be greatful to have
you as a class mate. You will be the brave one to ask for clarification
or to provide a little chalenge every now and then. Remember that
your experiences in life have shown you things that these 19 year
olds have not even dreamt about yet. Enjoy your moments.
